i feel i should blog this out to remind myself that there are nice things that happen at work which makes me feel appreciated.


let's make it simple, my job's nature requires me to contact people (which we called mbrs). if I'm unable to get them, i'll send letters to them to get them to contact us back. it's a daily job thingy as i've to assess their case.


so today, a mbr contacted me after she received the letter from me. after "interviewing" her on the necessary issues and promising to submit her case as reinstatement instead of a new application, she suddenly brought up the topic of the reported suspected acid rain. i was like, erm ok, since a lot of mbrs sometimes goes off topic.


but she just went : "you know the news on the acid rain, which was reported not to be acid rain? actually i feel it maybe a bit harmful as i've seen some people seeking consultation at the doctor's after getting drenched in the rain as their skin turned red."


and i was still thinking, hmmm i wonder what she wanna says.


before i can stop her from going "off-topic", she continued by telling me to remember to bring an umbrella with me and not to get drenched in the rain as it may be harmful.


so i was like "awwww..... this mbr really warms my heart! and i'm really really touched!"


just before she hung up, she also told me i sounded sweet, so she guessed i must be quite pretty. wahahaha.... that's really nice, isn't it? hehe!


i think just a small gesture by her on showing her appreciation for me really makes a small impact on me. such mbrs do really exist! and indeed, i'm really touched!


hopefully there'll be more of such mbrs around!
