national day & sakuraya @ 9:37 PM
initially, we were arranged to go back to the office on this national day for some data testing due to our IT revamp project. and this morning they told us that the worst scenario will be that if they are unable to migrate the data by a certain time, we'll have to go back to the office at 8pm instead of 4.30pm and it will be till 4am! GOSH when i heard it, i almost wanted to faint can! imagine my piling up assignments!!

but.... when i was really hoping & praying that it'll be still at 4.30pm (although it'll be till 11.30pm) as i've accepted the fact i need to go back, my sup came and told us it's CANCELLED! wooHoo~ how happy can i get? hurhur! so i still can enjoy the PH and be abit patriotic enough to "celebrate" national day. hurhur!

and being a more patriotic organisation, we have a "competition" to design a national day card. and this is what our dept came up with very very last min. the cake was cut out by my sup's mother. how nice can it be right? hurhur... personally i like the cake's design & colour and the 44 "candle".

nice? a bit typical though. hurhur...

dinner after work yesterday with gabby at Sakuraya Fish Mart for the delicious, heavenly & fresh sashimi! -slurps- and i really mean FRESH! it's just like a fish mart and you get to choose your own sashimi just like in a supermarket and they will slice it for you and you can enjoy it on the spot right there. but it's a bit pricely though, but it's definately worth it! definately will go back again! initially i was still wondering if by just eating sashimi will it be filling enough and yup, i'm definately wrong. gabby and i couldn't even finish the last few pieces of salmon as one will really get sick of eating TOO MUCH of sashimi. nevertheless, it's damn nice can! hurhur... now, i'm craving for it again. hehe...

HEAVENLY! especially the swordfish & hamachi!

jellyfish. average

so-so salmon maki

this morning was our U&R dept national day celebration. it was just a simple MAC breakfast then followed by cake cutting. but it was a good bonding session as we didn't really get the chance to bond with the R team since our merging in June. definately more celebrations to come...

our breakfast. a lot!!

love the view from our meeting room....
