Headed down to Chinatown yst with Gabby in search for "Da Tong" and "Da Zhong Guo" mooncakes. Sounds abit retro for mooncakes for youngsters right? Hehe.... Parked beside Hong Lim and we had to walked around to search for the shops as we're not very sure of the location, ended up seeking help from Daddy. Finally found "Da Tong" first after about 10 mins then we proceeded to look for "Da Zhong Guo". I think we spent around half an hour or more looking for the shops. Bought the 2 retro brands as my parents prefer "Da Tong" while Gabby parent's prefer "Da Zhong Guo". Quality mattered compared to the now commercial all sorts of mooncakes. After the search, we went for the famous dessert at Temple Street. Had the Mango with pomelo and sago (Yang Zhi Gan Lu). -slurps- Super delicious~!
